Located in Agios Leon, a traditional village of the mountainous Zakynthos, our company has been cultivating and producing high-quality olive oil since 1971. Our olive press is a two-phase modern olive press environmentally friendly and has been constructed in full accordance with international standards and certifications. Our annual production is approximately 600 tons of extra virgin olive oil.
In 2015 we decided to bottle our extra virgin olive oil “VOUNO”, and established a shop in our estate. Every bottle of “Vouno” is the result of this long-lasting cooperation and utilization of our factory’s modern facilities. But above all, the extra virgin olive oil “Vouno” represents the heart of the mountainous countryside. The gathering is taking place exclusively in the mountains of Zakynthos having as a result of the differentiation of the olive oil in terms of rich taste and nutritious elements.
Our olive press is open all year and people can come for olive oil testing and make their purchases. Vouno products are sold directly to customers at its shop, online, and at retailers inboard and outboard. Its goal is to find new markets to sell the unique olive oil of its region. The list of our products includes extra virgin olive oil, Bio extra virgin olive oil, virgin olive oil, and aromatic – flavored olive oil.

From the moment we started bottling extra virgin olive oil, cooperation with olive growers, chemists and agronomists began. Our team is on site at harvest time in order to ensure the best quality olives are selected.
Olives are transferred to the press without delay, where they are washed and any leaves removed, and the olive fruit immediately cold-pressed. They are sensitive to heat and many older-technology presses are unable to prevent temperatures creeping up during all production stages. This affects not only the aroma and taste but also the beneficial polyphenol content. Our team guarantees its olives are cold-extracted at a steady temperature of below 27°C throughout. Our olive press is two-phase, with the result that the fresh fruit juice or olive oil produced with Evoolution methodology never comes into contact with water. This is important, since the vitamins and natural antioxidants in olive oil, known as polyphenols, are water-soluble.
