Thallon has a Health Claim, due to the high concentration of polyphenols and Vitamin E.
According to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and European Regulation 432/2012, the polyphenols in olive oil help protect blood lipids from oxidative stress.

It is recommended to be eaten raw in the morning or as a side dish with salads, boiled or grilled vegetables and grilled meat. THALLON is a limited and specific crop, as every year during production, all of it is stored in a large tank, from where we send a sample for chemical analysis, organoleptic, taste tests and international taste competitions. This way we achieve the consumer to enjoy and taste, a product that has the same quality and taste characteristics of each year in all packages.

HISTORY – VISION
Dimitris and Andreas Tsikouris were born and raised in Ormylia, Chalkidiki, an area where olive cultivation has been a tradition since ancient times.
Love and respect for the blessed olive tree have been ingrained in them since they were young children.
They experienced firsthand the olive cultivation, olive harvesting, olive oil production and learned to appreciate the valuable for our health olive oil. Childhood memories were transformed over time into experience, which, combined with their vision to produce their own olive oil, created THALLON.

We strongly believe in the purity and excellence of the Greek extra virgin olive oil, which for millennia was considered as the essence of health and civilization.
Our vision is, with our elegant packaging, to make known the intense properties of truly extra virgin olive oil to people all over the world, along with its amazing taste and aroma!

Why Us

Thallon is one of the few limited production organic early harvest olive oils in the market from the Chondrolia Chalkidiki cultivar with a rich tasty profile (FRUIT 5.5Mf, PUNGET 6.5Mb, and BITTER 5.0Mp).
It is a natural olive juice, from fresh and healthy early harvest olives. Due to its high content of polyphenols, Thallon has gained a health claim, according to European Regulation No. 432/ 2012 of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
It has a strong fruity and at the same time soft taste because of its very low acidity. It also leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste and a slight burning sensation in the throat, due to the high content of Oleocanthal and Oleacein, which have significant biological activity and have been attributed with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, cardioprotective and neuroprotective properties.
Each year’s crop is stored in a separate tank from which samples are extracted for chemical analysis during the final product standardization. This procedure ensures that every bottle of Thallon contains the exact same quantity and quality of olive oil.

Our olive groves are located in the area of Halkidiki, Greece, while the variety of olive trees from which ThallonOlive Oil is produced is ” Chondrolia Chalkidiki”, world-famous for its quality and size.
THALLON has all the tasty features of the Hondrolia variety, that is, a rich fruity flavor with aromatic notes of grass, herbs, pepper, tomato and a balanced bitter and spicy flavor.
Recommended to be consumed in its raw form in the morning or as an accompaniment to salads, boiled or roasted vegetables and grilled meat.
